While the tales relate the actions of a solitary male the outcome cannot relate to similar situations where children and women and mothers are the potential victims.

Texas Freedom Network President Kathy Miller, on state Sen. Dan Patrick’s tenure as chair of the Texas Senate Committee on Education.

Cutting people off, not allowing them to complete their three minutes of testimony, asserting that they hadn’t read the legislation and weren’t prepared to testify appropriately does discourage opposition, whether Senator Patrick means it to or not. It kind of undermines the whole idea of a participatory government process.

There are no laws to protect individuals such as myself. It should not matter that as diverse as I am—being gay, disabled, Latino and a veteran—I am a person of this great state. U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, accusing the Obama administration of aiding terrorists.

It’s very clear to everyone but this administration that radical Islam is at war against us. I’m hoping either this administration will wake up, or a new one will come in at the next election before irreparable damage is done. This administration has so many Muslim Brotherhood members that have influence that they just are making wrong decisions for America.
