The Texas Education Advocacy Series (TEAS) is an advocacy action program designed to empower Texans across the state to fight, at the local and state levels, for our students’ rights to be, learn, and thrive in schools.

This isn’t just an everyday opportunity. TEAS graduates will not only leave with organizing skills and tools they can use right away—they’ll join an amazing community of advocates across the state, all of whom are committed to honest, inclusive, and high-quality public education for every Texan.

When: Biweekly on Thursdays from 6:30 – 8 p.m. CST, starting July 9 through Oct. 15

Where: Virtual training series (Join from anywhere)

Who Is the Texas Education Advocacy Series for?

Everyone!

Whether you consider yourself a novice or an expert, whether you’re interested in advocating at your local school board or participating in the legislative process—whoever you are, there’s a space for you in our cohort!

What Will I Learn?

You’ll learn how you can take action against book bans, discriminatory dress codes, curricular censorship, state-sponsored religion, and other important issues affecting students in your community and in our state.

We're going all in for Texas. Will you?
