Here’s what the Bible says, Leviticus 20:13: If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, OK, it’s says even both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. And that, my friend, is the cure for AIDS. It was right there in the Bible all along and they’re out spending billions of dollars in research and testing. It’s curable — right there. Because if you executed the homos like God recommends, you wouldn’t have all this AIDS running rampant.”
That’s pastor Steven Anderson, preaching early this week at his Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona. Anderson also screamed that all gay people are pedophiles and that they would never be welcome in his church:
“No queers allowed in this church…. No homos will ever be allowed on this church as long as I’m the pastor here. Never!”
His sermon was answered with laughter and approval.

Sadly, all too typical of many, if not the majority of fundies when they confront their own sexuality; he clearly has issues within his own psyche regarding his sexuality and gender identity that he is desperately tying to hide.
That pastor is sick! Unfortunately, there are millions of so-called Christians who agree with him 100%. I guess it’s never occurred to them that if God doesn’t like gays, then He can take care of it without their assistance. I think it’s that hatred that a lot of young people are running away from — and, therefore, running away from the churches that foster it.
What makes that rectal terminus think that AIDS is a “gay disease?” It is a DISEASE, period. And to make matters worse, called gays PEDOPHILES?
How is it that so many preachers are CONVICTED PEDOPHILES? How ’bout those priests who have been sexually assaulting altar boys? PEDOPHILES are virtually 100% heterosexual men!
Oh, and I wonder if that moron has ever eaten shell fish? That is ALSO an abomination in the “bible.”
What he and other religious bigots don’t get is that the Hebrew word that is mistranslated “abomination” REALLY means “this is not what we do.” Who DID those things? The Egyptians and Canaans!

He better include all of the Christian preachers who come out as gay and who are convicted pedophiles.

AIDS is a disease, not a gay, straight, or any other name disease.
