He’s too old to have been in school when the Texas State Board of Education passed its 2010 resolution attacking Islam and falsely claiming that history textbooks have an anti-Christian and pro-Muslim bias. But a 24-year-old Texas man has been charged with violating the civil rights of members of a Tennessee mosque.
Talking Points Memo explains the charges against 24-year-old Javier Alan Correa:
Correa allegedly used a cell phone to call the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro and left a message saying there was going to be a bomb in the building on the 10th anniversay of the September 11 terrorist attacks. “Listen up you f***ing Muslim b****es, go back to your f***ing dirty f***ing country, f***ing Muslim fascists, get the f*** out of here,” he allegedly stated.
At least that comment is more succinct than the offensive resolution the State Board of Education adopted.
