Talking Points

From today’s TFN News Clips:

— Dallas pastor Robert Jeffress, once a vocal critic of Mitt Romney’s candidacy and his Mormon faith, in a pre-election sermon

  1. So he was endorsing a political candidate from the pulpit. Does his church have tax-exempt status with the IRS? If so, bust him! I know this goes on ALL the time (“Vote the Bible” anybody?) BUT do these violating churches ever get prosecuted for breaking tax laws????

  2. So Obama is leading us to the Antichrist? Isn’t Jeffress supposed to be looking forward to this, i.e., the Second Coming and all?

    So what’s his problem?

  3. I’m not saying Robert Jeffress is a child molester. I’m not saying that at all. But what I am saying is this: every time I see a photo of him there seem to be a lot of children around.

  4. This guy makes me wonder why I was ever a Southern Baptist. Fortunately, I got over that years ago.
