Matthew Hagee, the son of San Antonio megachurch Pastor John Hagee, explaining the planet is not experiencing climate change, but rather the second coming of Jesus Christ.

So we have a decision to make: do we believe what an environmentalist group says and choose to live in a world where we’re attempting to make everything as clean in the air as possible, or do we believe what the Bible says, that these things were going to happen and that rather than try to clean up all of the air and solve all of the problems of the world by eliminating factories, we should start to tell people about Jesus Christ who is to return?

Marjorie Holsten, arguing that sex education courses were a plot to increase the number of Democratic voters by destroying marriages.

And so if you have somebody who can’t bond, they’re not going to have a stable marriage. When you have unstable, broken households, how do they vote? Democrat. So this has a very evil underlying intent.

Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, warning members against supporting ENDA, which would, according to Perkins, render the First Amendment “dead to you.”

They’re pushing ENDA again – the Employment Non-Discrimination Act – which would strip Americans of their religious liberties. No longer will an employer be able to make employment decisions based on what qualities or characteristics are most relevant to a particular job. […] This is the most perverse distortion of the Constitution of the United States imaginable. And is more likely to impact you personally than ever before. Because ENDA is the federal government forcing a pro-homosexual point of view upon the entire (supposedly ‘free’) marketplace.

An excerpt from the Texas Republican Party’s first draft of the 2014 party platform. The platform goes on to support ‘reparative therapy to patients who are seeking escape from the homosexual lifestyle.’

Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable alternative lifestyle, in public policy, nor should family be redefined to include homosexual couples. We believe there should be no granting of special legal entitlements or creation of special status for homosexual behavior, regardless of state of origin.

Nancy Northup, president and CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights, on a federal appeals court ruling that reversed a trial court decision on Arizona’s rules limiting medication abortions.

This court did what other courts need to do. It looked past the pretext that these are health and safety rules that protect women to the reality they do the opposite by making medication abortions less safe and effective and harder to obtain.

  1. Mr. Hagee needs to do a little bible reading:

    “God will destroy those who
    destroy the earth.” (Revelation 11:18)

The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration … in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. (Romans 8:18-21)

(Notice that the “children of God” are those who care about creation, rather than the Republican morons who are working hard to destroy it.)

And use a little common sense. If God creates a lush, green Earth and calls it “good” in the Bible, then you fill it with hazardous waste, dump your garbage there, and make the air in it so acrid no one can breathe it—who is going to be pissed? Harry Reid? No. God you idiot!!! It’s HIS creation you are screwing up!!!
