President/Executive Director
Kathy Miller is the chief spokesperson for the organization in all public matters. She is responsible for the development, planning, staffing and implementation of all programs. Kathy became TFN President in January 2005. Kathy previously served as Deputy Director from 1996 to 2000 and on the TFN Education Fund Board of Directors. (Click here to see Kathy’s full bio.)

Outreach/Field Director
Valerie Benavidez heads up the organization’s outreach and field work. She is in charge of keeping the membership informed, active, and continually growing. She also coordinates work with allied organizations and assists in making sure TFN members participate in all TFN legislative and non-legislative actions and functions.

Regional Field Coordinator — Dallas, Fort-Worth and Denton
Arielle Clarkson expands the overall outreach efforts of the organization with an emphasis in the Dallas, Fort-Worth and Denton areas.

Digital Engagement Coordinator
Erica Faulkenberry develops online strategy and online community and grassroots outreach efforts.

Development Director
Rachel Glast oversees fundraising for TFN and the TFN Education Fund, including building on the organization’s major donor program, expanding the organization’s donor and membership base and obtaining foundation support.

Office Administrator
Shannon Marshall manages TFN and TFN Education Fund financials, office operations, oversees vendor services and provides support for all programs.

Outreach & Field Manager
Rae Martinez trains the next generation of progressive leaders through the Texas Rising leadership program for activists under thirty years old.

Deputy Communications Director
Jose Medina helps develop and manage TFN’s communications strategies in the media, member communications and online.

Outreach and Faith Coordinator
Sonja Miller coordinates TFN’s work with clergy and faith communities, with a special focus on reproductive rights/justice and LGBTQ equality.

Deputy Development Director
Zoraima Pelaez coordinates organizational fundraising, special events and stewardship for donor-related opportunities and support.

Communications Director
Dan Quinn works with the news media on TFN issues and manages the organization’s research and public policy reports.

Deputy Director
Ryan Valentine directs the Texas Faith Network, oversees TFN’s social policy research program and assists the President in implementing the organization’s programming.

Community and Field Liaison
Mike Webb works to foster relationships and integrate programmatic work between TFN’s field organizing and the progressive community in the greater Houston area, and also supports other statewide efforts around policy advocacy.
