Since 2006, the Texas Freedom Network Education Fund has been working to create a powerful base of young leaders (ages 18-29) across the state.
Texas ranks 51st in civic engagement.

Meaningful change in Texas requires that we increase the culture of political awareness and engagement. Young people, ages 18-29, represent 24% of the voting eligible population in Texas.
Texas Rising is working to engage this demographic to shift current civic engagement trends and to expand the Texas electorate with new lifelong voters.
